i) Reinforcing and structural steel


1- These grades are produced according to ASTM, DIN, EN, BS, JIS and TS standards. It is also possible to produce grades with some deviations in analysis on special request.

2- Concrete reinforcing steel are produced either in plain or deformed form with narrow size and shape tolerances using EGE ÇELIK' s technology and experience in sizes 8-32 mm.

3- Plain or deformed wire rods of 8-18 mm are compacted and secured automatically with four wire ties forming coils of approximately 1500 kg.

4- Plain or deformed bars of 10-32 mm are aligned with both ends and normally secured with minimum of four tensioned flat steel bands forming bundles of approximately 2000 kg. the bundles do not contain short bars.

5- Straight bars are normally sheared into lengths of 12 m. unless otherwise specified by the customer. Bars can also be sheared into lengths of 6-18 m. on request.

6- Two tags covering the details of the heat are attached to the bundles and traceability of the product is ensured at all stages from tapping to after sale services with its specific heat number.

7- Certificates comprising chemical analysis and mechanical properties referring to the heat number are dispatched with delivery.
